Burkina Faso
An experimental hut trial have been conducted in Burkina Faso to evaluate the residual efficacy of VECTRON™ T500 when applied to concrete and mud huts surfaces against pyrethroid susceptible Anopheles gambiae s.s. and resistant wild An. coluzzii. VECTRON™ T500 provided residual efficacy (>80%) to nine months on concrete and mud substrates against susceptible mosquitoes, on mud substrates against the resistant mosquito strains, and to eight months on mud and concrete substrates against the resistant mosquito strains.
An. gambiae s.s. KISUMU | Insecticide susceptible |
