Village Hut Trial has been conducted in Ghana to evaluate VECTRON™ T500 residual efficacy applied on both concrete and mud hut against pyrethroid susceptible Anopheles gambiae s.s. and resistant wild An. gambiae s.l. It provided residual efficacy above 80% at the 168-hour mark during each monthly observation throughout the 12-month duration. Although the mud surfaces collapsed after 8 months due to heavy rainfall, efficacy was maintained throughout the testing period.
72-hour and 7days mosquito mortality tested in 30 min WHO cone bioassays in village huts
An. gambiae s.s. KISUMU | Susceptible |

Wild An. gambiae s.l. DODOWA | High resistant for pyrethroids with kdr mutation |

*) Testing on wild mosquitoes was not conducted in the 7th, 9th, and 10th months due to insufficient numbers
